From a young age, Andrew was destined to be an entrepreneur. Raised in suburban Atlanta in the early ‘80s by immigrant parents with little money, Andrew quickly learned the meaning of work ethic and dedication.

He began selling blow pops in high school to make money so he could afford lunch on days when his mother couldn’t provide lunch money. During his freshman year at Georgia State University, Andrew worked for C&S Bank (today known as Bank of America), and was subsequently hired as an accounting intern by Norfolk Southern Railroad, where he worked full-time and attended evening classes, making sure he achieved his goal of graduating in four years. At age 22, upon graduating from college, Andrew founded his firm, Poulos Accounting & Consulting, Inc., and during his 24-year career, he has built a successful accounting and tax practice. He represents individuals, small- and mid-size businesses for accounting, tax preparation, and tax resolution. His experience and amazing personality transcend into successful case resolutions for his clients.

In 2011, Andrew produced the QuickBooks Ultimate Lesson Guide DVD Series©, providing 16 hours of hands-on training on the fundamentals of QuickBooks©. His dynamic teaching style and excellent content made the QuickBooks Ultimate Lesson Guide a unique product in the marketplace, earning the DVD a 5-star review by the Library Journal. Today, the QuickBooks Ultimate Lesson Guide© can be found on the shelf of almost every major metropolitan public library.

As a young thought leader, he consults with businesses and corporations, providing strategic planning for growth. In 2017, Senator Orin Hatch, chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, invited Andrew to submit a tax reform proposal. Andrew’s 11-page tax reform proposal included recommendations to revitalize poverty stricken inner cities across the country and provide small businesses with pro-growth tax policies that can help grow their businesses and the economy.

Andrew speaks to small and large audiences on a wide array of tax topics, including the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act legislation. He has served as a Board of Director for the Georgia State University.

School of Accountancy, and a mentor for the Georgia State University College of Business Honors Program. Currently, he is the tax editor for consumer affairs, and a participant in the ProConnect Customer Council for Intuit Inc., 2018-2021, and founding tax editor for Reviews.com.

Andrew is the founder of Poulos Children’s Cancer Foundation, a 501(c)3 charity providing financial assistance to families who have a child suffering from cancer and require financial assistance.
